Herb Belkin writes and teaches about modern Jewish history, the Zionist movement and the epic story of the founding of the Jewish homeland, one of the great uphill struggles in history. His courses cover Zionism and its leaders - Herzl, Weizmann, Jabotinsky and Ben Gurion - who dedicated their lives to a reborn Israel.
Herb has taught illustrated lecture courses on Zionism at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Brandeis, Gordon College, and the Explorers Lifelong Learning Institute of Salem State University. He writes a column for the Jewish Journal and has spoken at a number of synagogues and churches about how Israel was reborn. He can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
